1. Housekeeping: The Chairman advised those present of the emergency escape procedures. It was requested that mobile phones be switched to silent. If a call was received and had to be taken Members were politely requested to leave the room.

4. 4. Youth Worker/Youth Support Workers Recruitment – In preparation for the re-appointment of Youth Workers and Youth Support Workers for the Town Council’s Youth Facility details of the current Job Descriptions and Person Specifications were submitted for review. It was expected that relevant induction training would be provided and a review of the current Safeguarding Policy would be undertaken by the Policy committee. Consultation had taken place with officers from Stockton Borough Council and it had been requested that the jobs would be advertised within its internal Jobs Bulletin. It had been further suggested that the advertising of jobs would be undertaken by social media and Catalyst and the provision of North East Jobs be looked at. RECOMMENDED that the advertising and appointment of the Youth Workers and Youth Support Workers be referred to the Personnel Committee for consideration and appointment.
